Aishwarya Vardhana, a graduate of Stanford University, is a Bay Area based designer, artist, and organizer.
The central argument of her design practice is that Design is everywhere and constantly in motion in our communities. If we believe Design to be a ways of seeing, facilitating ideas and problem-solving, then the role of the designer is crucial, natural and often enacted by those mostly intimately involved in a community.
Vardhana is interested in Design as it applies to story-telling, public policy, dismantling and creating alternatives to systems of oppression, climate adaptation, civic tech and urban infrastructure.
All projects for unions are pro-bono, for BIPOC groups are on a sliding scale.
